Feature:
- Machine combined the function of cavity milling, chip embedding and contact & contactless encoding together perfectly.
- Machine is controlled by industrial computer and servo motor. Machine status monitoring, production operation, parameters setting, etc. can be easily achieved by using computer.
- Changing production type, e.g. from 6 pin to 8 pin, is very convenient. It takes only several minutes to shift between patented 6 & 8 pins chip punching module.
- Horizontal card unloading unit and card loading magazines both can contain maximum 1000 cards which reduce labor.
- Machine milling X-Y axis accuracy: ± 0.015mm, Z axis accuracy: 0.015mm and embedding accuracy is ± 0.015mm.
- Chip embedding employs patent of flexible hot and cold pressing technology, making the embedding result tight and exquisite
- Machine been equipped with a vacuum to exhaust milling dust and a water chiller to cool machine.
- Water cooling protected milling spindle, embedding and hot presser enjoy longer life time.
- The system is composed of three parts: mechanical configuration, electronic control and data processor. All of them with online security monitoring. SDK, DLL (dynamic link library) and application interface are provided for users to develop their own card manufacturing software. And it supports background control, remote data loading, encryption, etc.
- The machine can run 24 hours×7 days with stable and excellent performance.
Stations/funtions:
1. Horizontal card Input *1 OR vertical card uploading magazine *1:
- Horizontal card Input with the capacity of 1,000 ISO cards (big capacity, big space; OR Vertical card uploading magazine *1 with the capacity of 500 ISO cards (small capacity, small spare). Two kinds of magazine for optional.
- Card input unit adopts vacuum system to separate cards, and there is not scratch on sensitive card surface. Blowing system is equipped on front and back to avoid card duplication
2. Double card detection *1: Double card detection is to protect unnecessary cards from flowing to next progress.
3. Card direction detection *1: This function of this unit is to detect target by color sensor.
4. Milling Station * 1:
- Milling stations adopt independent control, 3 group servo motors for 3 axis movement to drive main axis high speed motor for card cavity milling with alloy's milling tool.
- Chucks: Suitable chucks for different shaft diameters d = 3, 4, 5 mm
- Conversion / Change tool Complexity and time = Fast exchange, no special tools required
- X-Y axis accuracy: ±0.015mm, Z axis accuracy:± 0.015mm, flatness accuracy: ±0.005mm.
- Different cavity can be easily swift and customer can design special size cavity milling by themselves.
5. Cleaning Station * 1: Adopts brush and vacuum to clean cavity again.
6. Depth detection *1: Station with a digital feedback device will transmit depth value to PC software, which will adjust the milling depth for the following card automatically according to measurement results.
7. Chip punching*1: With 6 pin and 8 pin punching module combined, conversion between 2 kinds of size chip production is very convenient and fast.
8. Chip embedding *1:
- Chip will be heat before embedding which makes embedding result better.
- Bad chip will be rejected.
- Card will be well positioned when embedding with the accuracy of ± 20 µm.
9. Chip presence control*1: Review every embedded chip in case of chip accidently missing.
10. Hot press *2:
- Unit for hot press and activate the glue in to the chip. Including centering system.
- With patented hot and cold pressing technology, chip will not be damaged and embedding result is tight and elegant.
11. Cold press *1: Unit for over height control after embedding the chip.
- Unit for hot press and activate the glue in to the chip. Including centering system.

12. Module over height control *1:
13. ATR test *1: Check chip ATR value.
14. ATS test *1: Check chip ATS value.
15. Personalization barrel *1:With 32 contact encoding stations and optioanl contactless encoding. Optional for Smartware readers.
16. Card output 1 & 2: Each with the capacity of 500 ISO card. Machine will stop and alarm if the magazines are full.
17. Reject box*1: Rejected cards will be collected in this box. Machine will alarm and stop if the box is full.
